Post Closing Session
Post Closing Session involves trading securities outside regular market hours. In India, regular trading runs from 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with after-hours trading permitted from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM. This period often sees reduced liquidity, meaning fewer buyers or sellers. In this session trading is allowed only at a fixed price which is the derived closing price of the asset.
